5 things I learned from my dog

Lessons I Learned from My Dog

We humans may call ourselves the greatest of beings to have ever lived; the smartest to have found nature’s hidden treasures, set foot on moon, and swam under the deepest of oceans. But, there are some basics that we still need to learn. In this blog post, we are going to look at a few such basics that our less intelligent pals teach us every day.

Let’s face it, humans may be the most intelligent things on the planet, but we sure could learn a lot from our less advanced pals from time to time.

1.Let it Go (Don’t Hold Grudges)

You may still very vividly recall the first time you yelled at your dog after which it just looked at you with its droopy face. Pets, especially dogs, don’t hold grudges. They still look at you with the same love in their eyes, even when you have denied them a walk. They would sit beside you on the floor and would let you snuggle them.

Letting go of things that hold us back isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. It requires some serious willpower, which unfortunately, most humans lack. Things that happened, happened for a reason. Since you can’t change them now, why ruin the future because of it? Sound too simple, doesn’t it?

2.Loyalty:

Their loyalty is the reason why they are referred to as a man’s best friend. No matter how many times you screw up, miss feeding it, skip taking it out for walk, or not play with it when it wants you to, your dog will always have your back when it comes to protecting you from danger and harm. We believe we don’t need to stress on this point any further as we have a dozen dog movies that depict this one quality.

What we learn here is the importance of being loyal to the people we love, and always having their back when they most need it.
