Let’s Start at the Beginning: What is CBD?
CBD is a compound found in the hemp plant, which is a member of the cannabis family. Unlike tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the compound responsible for the psychoactive effects of marijuana, CBD is non-psychoactive, meaning it won’t get your dog “high” even though it is derived from the cannabis plant.
