Furthermore, it disrupts the entire lifecycle of fleas by destroying their eggs and larvae, preventing a recurrence of the infestation. How does FRONTLINE PLUS work?

FRONTLINE PLUS contains two active ingredients that work together to disrupt the flea life cycle at each stage. One of the ingredients kills adult fleas on your pet. What are the ingredients in FRONTLINE PLUS?

Frontline Plus contains the active ingredients fipronil and s-methoprene. Fipronil is a broad-spectrum pesticide that paralyzes and kills parasites by interrupting their central nervous system and rendering them immobile. The s-methoprene for dogs is an insect growth regulator (IGR), which allows Frontline Plus to prevent the flea life cycle from continuing.
