Dog-friendly Hot Cross Bun recipe

There’s nothing like a hot cross bun to get you in the mood for Easter – whether you like yours toasted or not, with or without butter, it’s the springtime treat we all know and love. And from classic dried fruit, to double chocolate and even Marmite, there seems to be something for everyone.

That’s why we’ve developed this delicious dog-friendly hot cross bun recipe. Remember, raisins, currants and sultanas are all highly toxic for dogs, so keep them away from your stash and dish them up these dog-friendly buns instead. We’ve used grated carrot and blueberries here for a fruity treat your dog will love!

This recipe does contain wheat flour, but if your dog doesn’t tolerate wheat, or you prefer to use an alternative, oat, coconut and almond flour all make great substitutes.
